I enjoyed Tsukuru, not as much as Kafka or Wind up bird, not read Strange Library but interested.

Hi Mel. Thanks still reading, like breathing just the blogging was placed on the back-burner whilst the world went chaotic around me.

Hi Lucia, thanks hopefully you'll find some of them. checked out your site & liking the poetry.

Hello Violet, partially circumstance partially my own ambitions all colliding like some great car crash. As to the reading it's just something that happens like breathing. The urban thing is not as urban as city dweller, we live in an apartment outside of the seaside town apart from the grounds immediately around the block, there is country within about 10 minutes, two parks nearby & the beaches are around 20 minutes away. Still like Murakami but becoming more of a Ryu as opposed to Haruki Murukami fan nowadays.

Hi Brian thanks although a combination of right place right time & latent ambition was the reasoning. @parridhlanternhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12793548943992250238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1434302889299955261.post-59559471955243061392015-01-03T19:42:10.059+00:002015-01-03T19:42:10.059+00:00Congratulations on your accomplishments and naviga...Congratulations on your accomplishments and navigating through such a busy time.

It is good to see you posting again.

I like the eclectic nature of your reading list. I will just mention that UBIK is a childhood favorite of mine that I recently reread and that I still got a lot out of.Brian Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15139559400312336791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1434302889299955261.post-66949728181761750462015-01-03T05:10:30.292+00:002015-01-03T05:10:30.292+00:00Crikey, you DID have a lot on your plate in 2014! ...Crikey, you DID have a lot on your plate in 2014! AND you found time to read, too. :) How does Islay like being a suburbanite? I still haven't read the Murakami: after IQ84 I'm very wary, although I look at it on the shelf quite often. I'm glad to see you back here. I'm not on Twitter any more, so I didn't know if you'd gone away for good. I'm glad that you haven't! I hope you have a great reading year.Violethttp://still-life-with-books.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1434302889299955261.post-28701358999550961812015-01-02T12:38:14.097+00:002015-01-02T12:38:14.097+00:00Hi Parrish!

I'm so glad to see you blog again. I sorely missed your presence.

The concept of wabi Sabi soothes me. Finding contentment with impermanence and imperfection are goals for the New Year and beyond.

I did enjoy Colorless Tsukuru, and I just finished The Strange Library. Which was so strange I'm not sure what it means.Bellezza https://www.blogger.com/profile/18073864187188953633noreply@blogger.com
